WORDLEARN PRIVACY
How your data is used
Wordlearn is an independent Greek language learning tool. Below is an overview of the main data the service processes to support learning and save your progress. This information reflects the current implementation and may change as the service evolves.
Learning progress
In guest mode, your learning results are saved in your browser on your device. If you have an account, your progress and answer history are stored in a database so you can continue learning across devices. If your internet connection is temporarily unavailable, your answers are saved on your device and synchronized once the connection is restored.
Your Wordlearn account
When you register, we ask for your name, email address, and password. Your password is stored as a cryptographic hash, and your sign-in session uses an HTTP-only cookie. Your name and aggregate statistics may appear on the learner leaderboard.
Connecting Patreon is optional
Connecting Patreon requires you to authorize the connection on Patreon. Wordlearn receives your Patreon user ID and information about your membership in the Sonnyssey campaign. An encrypted refresh token is stored to verify your membership later. Wordlearn does not receive your Patreon password. You can disconnect Patreon in the Wordlearn interface.
Access and deletion
You can clear guest-mode data through your browser’s site-data settings. You can disconnect Patreon yourself. To request access to or deletion of your account data, contact the site owner using the contact page.
